New nested-based CNC router and automated finishing technology are among the woodworking machinery used to help Vorst Custom Cabinets significantly improve its production speed and quality.

Cecil & Johnson Manufacturing owner Richard Pokrivka says that its stable of more than 10 CNC routers has been key to the company’s ability to produce a wide range of frame styles quickly.

Known for its luxury, highly custom and detailed architectural millwork, D&L Wood Products, based in Crown Point, IN, is planning a 30,000-square-foot plant expansion. The company recently broke ground on the new property and the building will be completed by the spring of 2016.
