Nucraft Expands Contract Furniture Facility

COMSTOCK PARK, MI – Contract furniture maker Nucraft  recently broke ground on a 47,700-square-foot expansion to its manufacturing facility. When completed, Nucraft will have nearly 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
 
“Nucraft is pleased to continue to invest in West Michigan, a community that we’ve called home since our founding in 1944,” said Matt Schad, CEO.

Eyeing Growth, Kyocera Acquires Vilnius Woodworking Tool Maker

KYOTO, JAPAN - Aiming to double its woodworking tool sales, the Kyocera Group industrial cutting tools subsidiary, Kyocera Unimerco A/S has acquired all shares of Garsdalo Medienos Technologija (GMT), a Vilnius, Lithuania manufacturer and distributor of woodworking tools.Kyocera Unimerco says it aims to strengthen its woodworking tool business currently centered in Northern Europe, and double its sales in this business segment by the year 2020.
