Genesis Products finalizes purchase of Funder America, expanding panel portfolio

GOSHEN, Ind. — Genesis Products has completed the purchase of Funder America, Inc. The acquisition positions Genesis to meet the high demand for Thermally Fused Melamine (TFL) panels and broadens Genesis’ expertise as a leading supplier of laminated panels, components and panel processing. Acme Tools opens Twin Cities distribution center

MINNEAPOLIS — Acme Tools, an authorized online retailer of tools and equipment, has opened a distribution center in Burnsville, Minn., to support its growing e-commerce division and better serve its increasing base of e-commerce customers throughout the United States. The distribution center will control the majority of truck shipments and larger parcel shipments to customers.

Dura Supreme launches multi-million dollar expansion in Statesville, NC

HOWARD KAJEM Minn. –  Dura Supreme Cabinetry has announced a multi-million dollar initiative to launch manufacturing operations in Statesville, North Carolina. The company expects the new manufacturing site to create over 200 new jobs in the first few years including cabinet making, furniture making, finishing, woodworking, and machining skills. The North Carolina facility will enable Dura Supreme to meet growing demand with a regional manufacturing site, expanded manufacturing capacity, and advantageous delivery times.

United Furniture hires firms to dispose of inventory and assets

NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- United Furniture Industries Inc., the company that unexpectantly and unannounced folded the day before Thanksgiving 2022 throwing thousands out of work, has hired two companies in a joint venture to sell off the company's assets. The companies, Capital Partners, LLC and Hilco Global have been contracted as exclusive agents for the disposition of Inventory, M&E, and FF&E, as well as the servicing and settlement of receivables on the company's behalf.
