Scott Ries, who was well known in the woodworking industry as a diamond tooling expert, died October 8, 2021. He was 63. Ries spent his entire working lifetime in the industrial diamond industry during an exciting phase of growth often connected to increased use of diamond tooling in CNC machining for woodworking.
