Zephyr Secure acquires Royal hardware providers

NEWTOWN, Conn. — Security hardware provider Zephyr Secure, Inc. has acquired both Royal Hardware, Inc. and Royal Components International, Inc., suppliers of precision-engineered drawer slides and industrial hardware components. Announced Aug. 8, Zephyr said the the acquisitions are a strategic move to expand its capabilities and hardware offerings.

According to Zephyr Secure the acquisition adds a specialized product line and broadens its customer and supplier base. The integration of Royal's high-performance drawer slide systems and hardware into Zephyr Secure's portfolio creates a more comprehensive offering for OEMs and manufacturers seeking robust, industrial-grade solutions.

Headquartered in Newtown, Connecticut, Zephyr Secure has been making storage security solutions for more than 75 years. Its products are used in a variety of commercial applications including office furniture, lockers, and toolboxes. The company is also an OEM solutions provider for custom hardware.
