Insightful speakers, networking opportunities, and hands-on demos of new machines and supplies are all on tap for Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, coming Oct. 23-24.

Located at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Mannheim, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic woodworking country, WPE features a host of products, from wood and panels to hardware, software, tooling, and machinery. It’s the region’s only professional woodworking event of the season.

The show provides extensive educational experience with seminars focusing on pricing, running a shop, recruiting employees, and exit planning, along with sessions exploring specific materials with continuing education units. Educational sessions will be spread throughout the two days of the show and located right off the main exhibit hall for ease of access. 

Free keynotes for 2025
Back by popular demand are keynotes by two high profile woodworkers: Matt Buell of M. Buell Studio and Paul Mencel of The Handcrafted Network and Philadelphia Table Co. 

Matt Buell will offer tips and tricks to help you run your shop more efficiently. He will share his experience from more than 15 years of owning a custom woodworking business in a presentation titled “Little Things Make a Big Difference.” Besides his award-winning furniture designs, Buell is known for practical and actionable advice delivered in workshops around the country and as host of the Young Wood Pro contest and program on Woodworking Network sponsored by Grizzly Industrial.

The other keynote speaker will be Paul Mencel, who has honed his skills both in woodworking and in business, with a firm understanding of what “you and your products” are worth. His presentation, “Luxury Pricing for Woodworkers” will help give you the tools to understand your market, realize who your customers are, and how to value your business and most importantly your time, accordingly.
