ACSP: Highlights from the 2025 Closets Conference
By Jenna Shock

The 2025 Woodworking Network’s Closets Conference, held June 11–13 in beautiful West Palm Beach, Florida, brought together industry professionals from across North America for a week of learning, inspiration, and connection. This year’s event was especially meaningful as we kicked off the week with a 20th anniversary celebration for the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals (ACSP) on June 10 at E.R. Bradley’s. The celebration was a huge success and a testament to how far our industry and our community have come.

One of the standout moments of the evening was the presentation of the Past President Award to Christina Relyea for her service as ACSP president during 2023–2024. Christina has set a remarkable standard of leadership and professionalism, and I’m personally grateful to have her as my advisor for the next two years. I’ve already gained tremendous insight from her experience and steady guidance.

We also celebrated Wendy Scott, MSD of Timeless Closets and Cabinetry, who was honored with the Pioneer of the Industry Award — a recognition reserved for those who make a lasting impact and give generously of their time and talent. Wendy has been a mentor and friend to so many of us in this field, and I truly can’t imagine where the industry would be without her influence and heart.

Another meaningful highlight came when ACSP director of Education, Kate Bernyk of Distinctive Design, had the pleasure of presenting Allanna Bell, of Optimization Dolls and ACSP vice president, with her Master Storage Designer certificate — the final and highest achievement in our certification program. This milestone recognizes Allanna’s unwavering dedication to the craft and her deep expertise in storage design. To learn more about the ACSP certification program, visit closets.org/get-certified.

Throughout the week, attendees engaged in top-notch education sessions, explored innovative booth displays, and took part in some of the best networking and collaboration our industry has to offer. I look forward to this event every year, and 2025 truly did not disappoint.

As we return home, we do so energized, inspired, and committed to growing our businesses — and our industry — together. Because when we support one another, we are stronger together.
