RESTON, Va. – Cabinet manufacturers reported overall sales were down 7.4% for June 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, with all three segments reporting year-over-year losses, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association's June Trend of Business report.

The 51 responding companies in the survey reported overall sales of $202.661 million for June 2025. In the year-over-year comparison, custom sales were down 7.2% to $54.264 million, semi-custom dropped 9.0% to $115.837 million and stock sales fell 1.5%, to $32.560 million. Respondents reported a cabinet quantity for the month of 544,764 down 12.9% compared to June 2024 figures.

For the month-over-month sales comparison, survey respondents reported decreases in all three segments. Custom sales dropped 3.0%, semi-custom 1.8%, while stock sales were down 2.9% in June compared to May figures. Cabinet quantity increased by 2.1% during the time period.

For the year-to-date, year-over-year comparison both quantity and sales were down.  Participants' sales through June 2025 were $1,185.374 million, down 6.5% from 2024 figures. Custom sales dropped 5,7%, semi-custom dipped 4.0% and stock declined 15.7%. Cabinet quantity for the year also decreased, down 14.5% to 3,137.730 million, according to survey participants.

For the overall cabinet market, estimated sales for June were $2.00 billion and estimated sales for the year-to-date were $11.770 billion. Cabinet quantity for the overall market was 5.4 million for the month and 33.6 million January through June.

The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) represents kitchen cabinet and bath vanity manufacturers and key suppliers of goods and services to the industry. KCMA has been compiling and reporting industry sales data for more than 40 years.
