Shooter at furniture foam factory apprehended

BALDWYN, Miss. — U.S. Marshals in Portland, Oregon, apprehended a suspect in a shooting at a bedding and furniture foam factory that occurred more than three weeks and 2,000 miles away. Baldwyn, Mississippi, police said that the suspect, Javontae Zyderrick Harris, 29, was wanted for the shooting that happened on July 2, 2025, at the FXI factory in Baldwyn. The victim, who was not named, was shot in the head and is in critical condition at a local hospital.
