Biesse: Extravaganza of woodworking automation on tap

“Biesse is well known for exhibiting technology throughout our booths at IWF, and we are very proud that attendees have come to expect this from us. On tap for exhibit were multiple robotics automation cells, high-speed CNC solutions, the company’s newest inventory management/machine loading system, its latest edge technologies, and the latest in sanding technologies.

Safety Speed promotes American-made machines, sales & service

Along with its larger, industrial pocket screw machines, Safety Speed Mfg. had planned to exhibit at IWF its newest screw pocket machine, the SPM101EZ, which creates a pocket with a 6-degree pilot hole in 1 or 2 seconds depending on the material being processed, said Brian Donahue, president.  The cancellation of the biennial show due to COVID-19 changed that.

ATLANTA - The 2018 International Woodworking Fair (IWF) was one of the largest shows in years. Before the four-day event kicked off Wednesday, Aug. 22, on Tuesday, Aug. 21, a full day of symposiums were held including the 2018 IWF Closet Symposium, sponsored by Weinig/Holz-Her. Speakers spoke on a variety of topics including how to grow your business, how to use PR effectively, the latest in European trends, the evolution to manufacturing and business tips, the business of design and the rise of multifunctional living spaces.
