Double pocket auto positioner

The SideShift from Castle USA is a double pocket auto positioner for the company’s CSI 1.5D Pocket Cutter/Screw Inserter machine. The SideShift automatically positions 1-1/4” to 3” wide stock in the correct position and creates two low-angle, 6° pockets with screws in under 4 seconds. The SideShift is ideal for face frame production, the company says, and because the SideShift automatically places material in the correct position, operator error is reduced or eliminated.

Hold-down clamps

Slabs and rough-cut lumber often lack a straight reference edge, which is necessary for safe ripping and squaring. If you don’t have a jointer or a large band saw, creating that straight edge can be tough. Rockler’s Straight-Line Rip Hold-Down Clamps make it easy to create a table saw jig or sled that rides against your table saw’s fence, resulting in a perfectly straight edge, the company says.

Wobbly table

Over the last months, I have been designing and crafting a table. I was inspired by the spider-legged coffee table by Foureyes Furniture. I just scaled it up in height and joined the legs in the middle with large dowels. Now it is unfortunately really wobbly. I think it needs some sort of cross bracing. But i dont know what would be ideal, without ruining the design/functionality of my table. I would love to add a video of the movement, but it is the worst when you try to rotate the table.
