Company Offers Stone Fabrication Franchises

BIRMINGHAM, MI - The Stone Shop International of Birmingham, MI, has launched a fabrication franchise business program. The company will provide customers with equipment packages, supply chain options; fabricator and sales training; and sales, marketing and business support services. The Stone Shop is owned and operated by Art Ataway, a veteran consultant of the stone industry. Ataway’s goal is to form a network of 200 franchises for natural and engineered countertop markets.

Schelling America and IMA America Join Forces

MORRISVILLE, NC – Schelling America Inc. and IMA America Corp. announced that the two companies will combine their sales and marketing efforts to form a strategic alliance in the North American market. Schelling America’s facility will be expanded to add office and warehouse space. In addition, Schelling’s showroom will house IMA equipment. An open house is being planned for this fall.

Italy"s Xylexpo to Take Place in May

MILAN, ITALY -- Xylexpo, a biennial exhibition of woodworking technology, will take place Tuesday, May 27 to Saturday, May 31, at the new Rho-Pero Expo Center in Milan, Italy. The exhibition has added new product categories in addition to machinery, accessories, and tools and plants for all machining and process operations, such as forestry and the construction industry.
