USDA Forest Service looks to boost mass timber construction

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Rev-A-Shelf, a leader in innovative home organization and storage solutions, has acquired InnovaShelf floating shelf and cabinet bracket systems.This strategic acquisition follows the formal partnership between Rev-A-Shelf and InnovaShelf, which was publicly announced at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) earlier this year. Starting August 1, 2025, as part of this agreement, all orders and distribution of InnovaShelf branded products will now be handled exclusively through Rev-A-Shelf.

Trade commission makes preliminary determination in hardwood and decorative plywood trade cases

In what has been described as a victory for U.S. producers of hardwood and decorative plywood (HWDP), the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) on July 3, 2025, found that there is a reasonable indication that imports from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam are materially injuring the U.S. HWDP industry, according to Wiley, a Washington-based law firm with experience in international trade.

Hardwood Forestry Fund voluntarily dissolves operations; passes 'torch' with final distribution of $190,000

After funding 5 million seedlings for 289 projects, in 38 states and 4 foreign countries, the Hardwood Forestry Fund (HFF) has decided to voluntarily dissolve its operations. The Board announced its final distribution of $190,000 to the Arbor Day Foundation and One Tree Planted to implement Hardwood Tree plantings in line with the HFF’s mission and goals.
