LINCOLNSHIRE, IL - Woodworking Network, a market media channel of Vance Publishing has launched the Job Board, in partnership with JobTarget, an industry leader in job board development and management, on a new online career center.

The Woodworking Network Job Board career center will focus on connecting employers in the wood manufacturing and custom woodworking fields, with eligible qualified candidates.

“We’re really excited to have partnered with JobTarget. They will be able to give our clients the most effective job searching and recruiting capabilities there is,” said Laurel Didier, VP and publisher at Woodworking Network. “We realize how hard it is for employers and qualified candidates to find each other in our industry. Our goal is that the new career center will help eliminate that problem.”

The Woodworking Network Job Board makes finding jobs and recruiting workers more efficient with technology that powers job websites and career centers, and with technology that helps employers advertise jobs where they will attract the most qualified talent.

More than 1,100 organizations, including professional and trade associations, publishers, world-class companies and entrepreneurs, rely on JobTarget’s best-in-class technology, generous economics and unmatched service and expertise, to power their career centers.

Among highlights of the center is the availability of niche-specific candidates. By using the recruitment service, employers are given access to Woodworking Network’s membership. Through it, an employer’s job posting will reach a large number of highly skilled passive and active job seekers.

The  career center includes pre-screen filters, the option to include a company profile and logo with a posting, and a pay-per-use resume bank. Woodworking Network's membership can find a unique opportunity to connect with employers and recruiters posting jobs specific to their woodworking skills.
