BURLINGTON, Ontario - A unique CNC machine from AXYZ International specifically designed for cabinetmaking and woodworking applications will make is WMS debut next month. Optimus includes software, dedicated machinery, and a range of specially designed options.
Burlington, Ontario-based AXYZ International launched the original Optimus at IWF 2016, then showed further updates at AWFS Fair in Las Vegas this summer. AXYZ will be exhibiting Optimus along with specially selected products and technologies at the International Centre in Toronto in Booth #2129.

Since its 2016 launch, AXYZ has added additional functionality to the Optimus, including re-engineering the Optimus chip collection pressure foot and fine-tuning the motion parameters for accuracy and productivity. By incorporating the latest industry technology into the Optimus, AXYZ says it can offer better performance and make cabinet and woodworking jobs quicker, more efficient, and more accurate.
“The Optimus is ideally suited for woodworking with a 24,000 RPM heavy-duty cycle spindle for tackling high production and low production jobs,” said John Donaldson, new business development manager for AXYZ International.
