Wisconsin once again leads the nation in accredited skill evaluators following a sold-out Woodwork Career Alliance (WCA) Accredited Skill Evaluator training program held October 28 at Madison Area Technical College.

NELLYSFORD, Va. -- The Woodwork Career Alliance of North America has announced the release of the 2016 Woodwork Manufacturing Skill Standards, the most significant update to the industry-accepted skill standards since they debuted in 2011. Simultaneously, the WCA has released a redesigned Passport, the personal record of a woodworker’s skill standard credential achievements. 

The Woodwork Career Alliance standards are helping the industry identify skilled labor.

The Woodwork Career Alliance says it certified five more skills evaluators during a certification session in Madison, Wisconsin earlier this month.
