The Weinig Group has launched a comprehensive, large-scale investment project of more than 120 million euros to be invested over the next 5 years. About 70 million euros of the total investment will go to the company’s headquarters in Tauberbischofsheim, Germany.
At its meeting on March 22, 2022, the supervisory board of Michael Weinig AG appointed Gregor Baumbusch as CEO for a further term of office until December 31, 2027. Leadership on the management board remained unchanged. Baumbusch will be support by Dr. Georg Hanrath (technology) and Axel Steiger (financial).
A new business model proposed by Weinig intends to offer more flexibility and access to the latest technologies.
Live demonstrations and presentations are planned over several days. Woodworkers can attend in person or virtually.
MOORESVILLE, N.C. - The Weinig Group has appointed Brett Reid president of the North American region, which includes operations in the United States and Canada. The appointment is effective immediately and follows the Group’s recently adopted market-based strategy combining Weinig Holz-Her USA and Weinig Holz-Her Canada into a single North American business unit.
Combined with existing moulding, gluing, and surfacing capabilities, the Profijoint line allows for a wide variety of products.
