BORDEN, Ind. - This past May, Koetter Woodworking and Weinig teamed with Minnesota-based filmmaker Benjamin Smith to create a short movie about Koetter.

"We came to the conclusion we would make a video that would highlight our wide range of capabilities with segments focusing on technology, transportation, envisionIT (our powerful design tool for architects), Weinig's support, and most importantly highlight our people," said Carol Phillips, sales & marketing at Koetter. "We wanted 'Sawdust in our Blood' to have a cinematic impact.

Production encompassed 13 days of filming at the company's 1.2 million-square-foot facility in Borden, Indiana and three months of post-production.

Koetter Woodworking manufacturers architectural millwork, solid wood doors, and stair parts as well as a variety of wood components for the kitchen cabinet, office furniture, and store fixture industries. The company employs 300 workers at its Borden plant. It's won two WMIA Wooden Globes.
