Hooker Furnishings has promoted Johne Albanese to chief marketing officer and Tod Phelps to senior vice president-Operations, both new positions within the company.
MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Hooker Furnishings has promoted Mike Harris to president-Hooker Casegoods and Upholstery, and Anne Smith to president-Domestic Upholstery in addition to her role as chief administrative officer. Both now report to company CEO Jeremy Hoff.
HIGH POINT, N.C. — Home Meridian International (HMI), a division of Hooker Furniture Corp., will consolidate its East Coast warehousing operations in a new 800,000-square-foot distribution facility in Liberty County, Georgia. The state-of-the-art distribution center, a $23.5 million investment, is expected to be fully operational by fall 2021 and should add 50 new jobs to the area.
Jeremy Hoff has been elected as the CEO of Hooker Furniture Corp. effective Jan. 31, 2021, when Paul Toms plans to retire. Toms will remain as chairman of the board of the residential furniture giant.
