Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. reported, April 26, that its consolidated net sales in the third quarter totaled $186.3 million, down 5.7% from $197.7 million for the same period last year.

ORLEANS, Vt. – Workers were sent home from an Ethan Allen furniture plant in Orleans, Vt.,  on Monday, July 11, because of a fire that was sparked by a malfunctioning boiler.  According to news station WCAX, embers from a chip silo started other small fires. All of the fires were extinguished and no workers were injured. 

More than 5,000 Ethan Allen associates convened physically and virtually to celebrate the company’s 90 Years of Innovation on Thursday, June 23. The day was declared “Ethan Allen Day” by the State of Vermont.

Ethan Allen’s upholstery workshop in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico, has been named “Empresa Socialmente Responsible” (Environmentally and Socially Responsible) by the Mexican Center for Corporate Philanthropy and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Ethan Allen purchased Dimension Wood Products Inc., which previously had been a supplier of wood components for Ethan Allen's upholstery division.
