SBA Home hosts official grand opening of U.S. factory

MOCKSVILLE,  N.C. — While SBA Home has been producing furniture at its Mocksville, North Carolina, factory since November of 2025, it recently held its official grand opening Feb. 26.SBA Group, one of the largest business groups in Lithuania, has officially opened its SBA Home furniture manufacturing facility in Mocksville. With a total investment of more than $70 million, the SBA Home North Carolina factory is the largest Lithuanian business investment in the United States to date.

Candlelight Cabinetry reportedly set to resume operations on Feb. 23

LOCKPORT, N.Y. — A local news station says that it has obtained an email purportedly from the owner of Candlelight Cabinetry, Andrew Olsen, that states that he has made progress working with new and existing partners to “sustain Candlelight well into the future.”Woodworking Network has reached out to Olsen via text message to enquire about the email and the progress he says he has made in obtaining financing from partners in an effort to catch up on all operations. Olsen has not responded to the Woodworking Network's message.

Plastic lumber manufacturer will invest $50 million in facility

Plastic lumber maker, Tangent Technologies, LLC, is expanding and consolidating its U.S. manufacturing operations in Illinois. As part of the company’s decision to expand in Illinois, it will invest $50 million to relocate its operations – currently in Canada and Aurora, Illinois – to Montgomery, Illinois, as it increases capacity and creates 110 new full-time jobs.
