CHARLOTTE – More than 100 woodworking production personnel joined Biesse Group and a dozen industry partners at the Inside Biesse event at the company’s Charlotte campus. They attended educational sessions and saw machinery demonstrations over two days.

A special emphasis was on Sophia, Biesse Groups' global system for developing real time analytics and data for predicting machine performance by linking through IOT (Internet Of Things). This allows companies to be more proactive with their technology investments and get greater value from the machines.

Biesse displayed 23,000 square feet of technology at their showroom, including the Winstore automation and management systems, panel saws with twin pusher technology, Viet’s Opera R automated system for sanding of MDF doors, the AirForce hot air system and CNC router technology.
