NAHB names 2025 Best in American Living Awards winners

ORLANDO — The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced the winners of the 2025 Best in American Living Awards (BALA) during the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando. The awards are sponsored by Smeg.The 2025 BALA categories include design, multifamily housing, offsite construction, and remodeling. With more than 200 gold and silver winners, these residential housing professionals have redefined excellence for homes and communities nationally and internationally.

Furnishings hall of fame opens nominations for the Paul Broyhill Leaders Award

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation is seeking nominations for the Paul Broyhill Leaders Award, given during the April High Point Market.  Each candidate must be under 40 years of age and will be selected based on a points-based evaluation of the candidate’s leadership, potential for personal growth, communications skills, and their commitment to the industry.

KI name winners of Fourth Annual Classroom Furniture Giveaway

GREEN BAY, Wis. — KI has the four winners of its fourth annual K-12 classroom furniture giveaway, a national program that empowers educators to design and build learning environments that support student engagement, inclusivity, adaptability, and sensory well-being.After receiving more than 131,000 votes from the public across the nation, four teachers, selected from 12 finalists, will each receive $50,000 in KI furniture of their choosing to transform their classrooms or school library media centers into a dynamic, student-centered space.
