Engineered Wood Siding and Trim (EWST) delivers design flexibility and dependable performance for interior and exterior applications. Offered in a wide range of textures, widths, and profiles, EWST is manufactured from inter-felted lignocellulosic fibers and consolidated under heat and pressure, capturing the traditional look of wood with enhanced consistency and reliability.
Built for longevity, EWST can be engineered with enhanced moisture-resistant properties and dimensional stability, along with fungal decay and termite protection. Available in an array of finishes, including woodgrains and embossed surfaces, these panels balance visual appeal with resilience and can contribute to LEED credits, supporting sustainable building practices.
EWST: Built for the elements
EWST offers a balance of long-lasting durability and style. Available in smooth and textured finishes across a wide range of widths and profiles, it delivers versatile design flexibility.

Product standards
ANSI A135.6 for Engineered Wood Siding defines the quality and dimensional attributes and covers the requirements and methods of testing for exterior durability, dimensions, straightness, squareness, physical properties, and surface characteristics. It also includes trade terms and methods of identifying engineered wood siding. ANSI A135.7 Engineered Wood Trim covers the requirements and methods of testing for exterior durability, and physical and mechanical properties.
Third-party certification to these standards is often required by building codes, and the Composite Panel Association (CPA) offers a recognized Grademark Certification Program for compliance. Copies of the standards are available at CompositePanel.org.
