Weima names new CEO

FORT MILL, S.C. -- WEIMA America, the North American subsidiary of WEIMA Maschinenbau, GmbH, has named Madison Burt as its chief executive officer. Burt has been a member of the leadership team of WEIMA America Inc. for more than a decade. He is currently serving as vice president of sales and marketing. He will step into his new role on Jan. 1, 2022. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Burt has an extensive background in engineering.

ARCADIA, Wis.— Ashley Furniture Industries earned a distinguished performer award in the Sustainability category from the global firm of Deloitte, which recognized Ashley as a “green” corporation that balances economic growth, social equity, and environmental management.  Ashley also ranked No. 7 on Deloitte’s Wisconsin 75 listing of the 75 largest private companies in Wisconsin, based on sales revenue.

Showplace Cabinetry completes $2.5 million warehouse expansion
