La-Z-Boy hit with pricing lawsuit

Law360.com reports that La-Z-Boy is being sued for allegedly falsely labeling product prices on its Los Angeles-based subsidiary Joybird's website as discounts from the e-commerce retailer and upholstered furniture maker's original listed price points.

2024 Sustainable Scorecard assessment begins

The Sustainable Furnishings Council and the National Wildlife Federation have begun their assessment of over 100 North American furniture retailers on their wood sourcing policies. The scorecard will be released in November, which gauges the year-over-year progress of furniture retailers and their sustainability practices.
