WPE Lancaster to feature NewCNC's automated nesting cell
NewCNC Talent TD5 CNC nesting router

The Talent T5D CNC router that NewCNC will demonstrate requires only one operator and has auto load/unload and barcode label printing.

MANHEIM, Pa. — NewCNC will conduct demonstrations of a complete nesting cell for production of cabinet parts, doors, and CNC carvings at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, Oct. 24-25.

The cell will feature the Talent T5D 10x10 CNC router and Fuse 8M edgebander. The demonstrations will showcase cabinet design and manufacturing using CAD/CAM software and generating machine code through manufacturing and edgebanding nested parts.

In addition to continual demonstrations throughout both days of the show, NewCNC’s work cell will be featured in the popular Running Machinery Program.

NewCNC says the manufacturing cell offers a solution to challenges faced by many wood products manufacturers to secure reliable employees, mitigate rising material costs, and be leaner and more competitive.

The Talent T5D CNC router that NewCNC will demonstrate requires only one operator and has auto load/unload and barcode label printing. The three-axis panel processing machine is capable of cutting a wide range of materials including wood products, plastics, and non-ferrous metals.

NewCNC notes that the Talent T5 is used extensively in cabinetmaking, closet manufacturing, sign-making, and plastics fabrication. Standard features include 1.5 KW servo motors, a 16-horsepower spindle, 12-position "ride along" carousel tool changer, 10-spindle independent drill block, and Delta CNC controls. The Talent T5 also includes the “Clean Sweep” unloader, automatic panel alignment, and pre-configured auto load and unload.

NewCNC Fuse M8 edgebander
NewCNC's eight-station Fuse M8 edgebander is designed for continuous production with processing speeds up to 59 feet per minute.

During the demonstration, some of the parts machined on the Talent T5D will be run through a Fuse 8M edgebander with pre-mill and corner rounding capability. The eight-station edgebander is designed for continuous production with processing speeds up to 59 feet per minute. Features include pre-milling to ensure straight workpieces with square edges. The edgebander also has a glue-station, four-roll pressure section, double-motor end trim, rough trim, fine trim with radius cutters, buffer, and scrape. The Fuse 8M can be used with PVC, ABS, acrylic, melamine or wood veneer.

NewCNC personnel will be on hand at booth #503 of the Running Machine Pavilion ready to answer questions about CAD/CAM programming, CNC operation and efficient cell manufacturing using nested-based technology. Learn more: videos, catalog; newcnc.com or call 616-994-8844.
