SNX Technologies names new regional sales manager

Stan Dykstra, a more than 25-year industry veteran, has been named SNX Technologies' Regional Sales Manager for the Michigan territory.SNX is an American manufacturing company specializing in semiautomatic contour (curved) edgebanders that provides the best cleaning, anti-static chemicals, and EVA hot melt glues for straight-line and contour edgebanders. SNX has also partnered with AES to act as a dealer of CNC routers.

CCF Industries commemorates rising from the ashes

CCF, a manufacturer of dovetail drawers located 30 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, likes to think of itself as the phoenix bird of drawer manufacturers. That’s because in April 2014, an explosion rocked CCF’s facilities spreading fire and destroying the company’s 16,000 square-foot drawer manufacturing facility.

Making the case for Mass Timber

Tino Kalayil, P.E., a structural engineer and currently the regional director (IL, IA, MN, WI) for WoodWorks - Wood Products Council, began his professional career on the Ascent building in Milwaukee. The structure is primarily constructed with mass-timber components, and it was from there that Kalayil's love for mass timber began to grow.On April 10, Kalayil will bring his love for the material and the technology to an in-person event at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook in Chicago where he will describe how to make the case for mass-timber construction.

Kim Kardashian sued for allegedly claiming her tables were authentic Donald Judds

he Judd Foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to the legacy of artist Donald Judd, sued reality-television star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian and design firm Clements Design in California federal court on Wednesday, March 27, for allegedly featuring fake versions of his furniture in a YouTube video, and claiming that they were genuine Judd furniture.
