Sleep in Heavenly Peace campaign announces 27 new chapters

The quarterly chapter training, held May 1-2 in Lehi, Utah, brought together 85 dedicated volunteers committed to ensuring no child sleeps on the floor in their communities — making it the largest chapter training cohort since SHP launched in 2012. With more than 108,000 kids currently waiting for beds nationwide, this record-breaking expansion is critical to reaching underserved communities and sustaining SHP's mission to end child bedlessness.

Flooring association completes 86th home for Gary Sinise Foundation

In addition to the 86 homes already completed, NWFA currently is working with its members to source wood flooring for 13 additional R.I.S.E. homes in various stages of planning and construction. Currently, 163 NWFA member companies have donated product, logistics, and installation services in locations throughout the United States, with a total value of more than $7 million.

Dorel's Q1 revenue falls 16.4% year-over-year, net loss improves slightly

Dorel Industries Inc. has announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026. First quarter revenue was $267.8 million, down 16.4%, from $320.5 million a year ago. Reported net loss for the quarter was $24.9 million to $25.3 million a year ago. Adjusted net loss for the quarter was $22.3 million compared to $23.6 million a year ago.

International Interior Design Association appoints 2026 board of directors

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has appointed Bill Bouchey as the 2026-2027 president of the IIDA International Board of Directors, while Mike Johnson II has been elevated to IIDA president-elect. Also elected to the International Board for new terms as vice president are Christina Gonano, Jennifer C. Graham, and Natalie Hartkopf.
