CINCINNATI, OH – Bioformix, Inc., a manufacturer of energy efficient, high performance, sustainable polymer platforms, announced Mark Holzer has joined its team as vice president of strategic accounts. Holzer was selected for his knowledge of engineering and sales management, as his responsibilities will require an in-depth understanding of the chemistry behind the company’s products as well as the ability to foster relationships with corporate accounts.

The most recent addition to leadership at the company, Holzer joins the team with nearly 24 years of combined experience in strategic account management and product development. He comes to Bioformix, Inc., with a rich background in the adhesives industry. As a product developer, he provided leadership and support to a variety of divisions within the 3M Company. Holzer holds multiple patents for his work developing novel induction seaming tapes and innovative high temperature labels.

As an account manager, he has worked for companies such as the Cognis Corporation and H.B. Fuller. While working with H.B. Fuller as leader for the global account team, Holzer delivered both double-digit sales and margin dollar growth, from a combination of incremental and organic expansion, for three consecutive years. The account team he led also received a “best of” award for sales growth in 2011.

Holzer holds a bachelor’s degree in materials engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, a master’s degree in materials science from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from Thomas More College.
