American Builders Supply Announces Additions to Senior Management

SANFORD, Fla. - -Blue Wolf Capital Partners, LLC announced that its portfolio company, American Builders Supply, Inc. (“ABS”), the largest independent supplier of doors, windows and trusses to homebuilders in Florida, has expanded its senior management team. The company appointed Shaun J. Heelan as Chief Financial Officer and Mark Garboski as Vice President of Operations. Both will be located at ABS's Sanford, FL headquarters.

Under Blue Wolf's ownership, ABS has consolidated four leading independent competitors in the last 15 months, including Clermont Builders Supply in February of this year.

Mr. Heelan, 53, comes to ABS from IDEX Optics and Photonics, where he was Vice President of Finance. Prior to that, he spent three years at HD Supply, Inc., first as CFO of the Electrical division, and later, as CFO of the firm's White Cap Construction Supply division. Earlier, he had a 20-year career at General Electric, most recently as Director of Finance, Global Supply Chain in the company's Consumer and Industrial division. He began his career as an Audit Manager for the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Defense. Mr. Heelan received a BS from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and has been a CPA since 1986.

Prior to joining ABS, Mr. Garboski, 42, was Vice President, Shared Services at ProBuild Holdings. Before that, he spent 15 years in a variety of positions at 84 Lumber, most recently as Executive Vice President and earlier as Vice President, Purchasing, Pricing and Category Management; Vice President and General Manager, Manufacturing; and Regional Manager. He received a BS from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
