FISCH to feature fast-drilling Forstner bit at WMS 2023
FISCH Black Shark Pro Forstner bit

FISCH offers its Black Shark Pro Forstner bit line in imperial and metric measurements.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – FISCH, an Austrian-based manufacturer of drilling and cutting tools, will demonstrate the advantages of the Black Shark Pro Forstner bit at the 2023 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Nov. 2-4, at the International Centre.

The company says the Black Shark bit’s patented “wavy edged” cutting tool geometry has been optimized to provide fast and precise drilling with less effort. FISCH adds that due to reduced dynamic friction and 25% increase in speed the runtime of the rechargeable battery of a cordless drill can be doubled.

Black Shark’s flank features three flats that eliminate the slipping of the bit in the chuck and extends service life. The Forstner bit line is available in imperial and metric measurements. Learn more.

Founded in Austria in 1946, FISCH operates factories in Austria and France producing more than 3 million drilling milling bits annually. In addition to the standard products from the drill and milling bit product line, custom-made tools are manufactured according to samples, drawings, or in joint development with customers.
