WMS 2023 preview video: Staircon 3D software

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Staircon CAD/CAM software for stair design and production will be demonstrated at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Nov. 2-4, at the International Centre.

Staircon is designed to provide a simplified and cost-effective solution for stair makers extending from sales through production. The user-friendly software enables fast design of standard stair shapes as well as flexible design capabilities for advanced stair shapes. Offered via different license levels, the modular construction of Staircon allows users to add functions at any time, when required.

In addition to all the design and manufacturing features that the CAD/CAM software offers, the Staircon 3D export enables its models to be experienced through virtual reality glasses.

Staircon is evolving; a new generation is coming
The first version of Staircon was released in 1999. Ever since, new Staircon features have been added and other have continuously been enhanced. The company says it is in the process of making a “substantial update of Staircon CAD and taking the next step into the future of stair design.” Staircon users have already started testing the continuously available prerelease versions, leading up to the next generation of Staircon.
