Sugatsune to put WMS 2023 focus on newest hardware solutions

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Sugatsune Canada, a creator of specialty hardware solutions, will present its newest products at the 2023 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo.

Some of the items that Sugatsune will display include:

The Aileron lid support kit with adjustable lift assist, free stop and soft close functions, creates a smooth user experience and frees storage space. Engineered to make installation quick and flexible, the Aileron is mounted to the top of an upper cabinet or top box by simply clipping it onto the hinge.

The Aileron set incorporates the Olympia hinge, the first of its kind built with Sugatsune’s patented Lapcon technology. It offers soft closing that is five-speed adjustable by manipulating the clicker. The mechanism catches the lid at 0°–30° preventing it from slamming shut. The Olympia hinge has passed 200,000 cycle tests. Watch video above.

Sugastsune Canada GS-G glass hinge

The GS-G series of glass hinges for curio cabinets. Featuring a glass door lock, hinges, and bracket for total coordination, the GS-G series allows for a seamless design that compliments the items within the showcase. Sugatsune offers three sets of GS-G hardware kits each available in three for different sizes of glass pivot doors in glass-to-glass or glass-to-wood configurations. The glass showcase hardware can support glass door weights of 11 lbs. to 110 lbs. depending on the model. Watch video.

Sugatsune-EB-hinge

The EB series of folding brackets, made of 304 stainless-steel, offers three models with varying sizes and weight capacities up to 200 kg (440 lbs.) for an evenly distributed central load.bs.). This folding bracket locks the flap in the opened position and releases it back to the wall or counter by the press of a lever. It is ideal for floating countertops, workstations, or path circulation clearance. The EB-303/EP-D is now available with built-in damper.

The Lever Release series for EB folding brackets is the newest addition to the collection, allowing easy operation for larger flaps, where two or more folding brackets are used. There is a push mechanism on the handles, which may be activated to lock and release levers with just one hand. Watch video below.
