Adams Architectural creates stately carriage garage doors

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Adams Architectural Millwork Co. has completed a project to make wood garage doors to replace existing doors. In carriage door fashion, these garage doors open on hinges rather than roll up. True divided lites and two large panels match other doors. The arched top and rich finish color set these Sapele Mahogany doors off from others.

Adams Architectural completes historically accurate window job

Adams Architectural recently completed historically accurate windows for an historic home renovation. The homeowner wanted to keep the same look as the original windows, but wanted the efficiency of insulated glass. To preserve the same look as the original, Adams had to fabricate a thicker window sash to maintain the same depth of the muntin bar. More than 40 windows were replaced by the Dubuque, Iowa, company.
