Lumber Liquidators announced that it has opened or remodeled 18 new stores in the first five months of 2015. The positive news turns the subject away from a challenging series of revelations about its flooring manufactured in China. Consumer-rights law firm Hagens Berman filed an expanded lawsuit against Lumber Liquidators (NYSE:LL), stating that the flooring company not only sold noncompliant composite flooring, but that its engineered hardwood floors also contain hazardous levels of cancer-causing formaldehyde, according to the lawsuit.
