HERFORD, Germany - Hardware specialist Hettich announced it has entered into a partnership with Poggenpohl, a global provider of high-end cabinetry.  The cooperation partnership will mark its debut during Küchenmeile, Sept. 19-25 in Germany, where Poggenpohl will also showcase a new product innovation developed in cooperation with Hettich.

Citing a significant drop in orders and sales since the coronavirus outbreak, luxury cabinetry firm Poggenpohl has filed for insolvency in Germany. The company said it will continue to restructure as it searches for new investors.

Poggenpohl, a German cabinet company, continues to strengthen its US executive team with the appointment of its new Chief Operating Officer, Dina Ruggiero and a new Marketing Director, Paul McCormack.

Hans Henkes is named president and CEO of Poggenpohl North America. The Cornell University graduate will lead a new U.S. executive team to actively promote the brand and drive sales in North America.

Exclusive, luxury kitchen designs from Poggenpohl will be available in the 132 residential units of Porsche Design Tower Miami.

Industrial investment group Adcuram acquired a controlling stake - 98.57 percent - in luxury kitchen cabinet manufacturer Poggenpohl.
