The LT15WIDE portable sawmill from Wood-Mizer is now available with a lithium-ion battery that reportedly operates at peak levels for eight hours. The battery version features a patent-pending “Smart Feed” technology that continuously monitors the amperage while sawing and will speed up or slow down the feed rate to optimize sawing performance. The powered saw head up/down raises and lowers the sawmill blade quickly and accurately for the next cut with servo-driven power.
