What to use for a cope style cut in 4-6" diameter milled dowels/logs

I have a log mill that I'm using to make 4" and 6" dowels/logs for furniture making and eventually cabin building (6"). I'm looking into the idea of building Swedish cope style dog houses, sauna's, and eventually small cabins. I've seen big industrial machines that make these quarter moon-like cuts in large logs 8-12" diameter, but wondering if for 4-6" diameter if a heavy duty shaper could work? I imagine it'd have to be pretty powerful as I'd want to cut mostly 8, 10, 16, and up to 20 foot logs.
