Wood Industry Association's 2025 Scholarship Program is now open

To date, the Wood Industry Association and former WMIA Education Foundation have awarded over $551,000 to 298 students. Scholarships are now open through January 31, 2025.

Major cabinetmakers close NC plants, hundreds to lose jobs

WARN notices filed Nov. 25 signal plant closures for two major cabinet manufacturers in North Carolina. Dura Supreme Cabinetry and UltraCraft Cabinetry, both brands of MasterBrand Cabinetry, are scheduled to close their North Carolina manufacturing facilities next year, leaving more than 270 employees facing layoffs.
