DALLAS — Builders FirstSource, a supplier of building materials, manufactured components, and construction services, has acquired Kleet Lumber Company.

Kleet Lumber, a family-owned lumber company, has been serving the Long Island and surrounding New York area for over 75 years. Kleet Lumber was founded in 1946 by Maxwell Kleet and the business continued under his son and grandsons.

The move follows numerous acquisitions for one of nation's largest suppliers. While the terms of the deal were not discussed, this is Builders FirstSource's sixth acquisition in 2024, including High Mountain Door & Trim, and Wyoming Millwork.
