Builders FirstSource acquires Wyoming Millwork

Materials at Wyoming Millwork, reportedly will complement Builders FirstSource's product lines.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — In a deal brokered by the investment banking firm, The JIAN Group, Delaware-based Wyoming Millwork Co. has been sold to Builders FirstSource.

Founded in 1994 by Dave Failing, Wyoming Millwork has two locations in Delaware that offer custom and semi-custom builders with lumber and sheet goods, windows, doors, millwork, trusses, and other building products. "We are thrilled to join Builders FirstSource and ensure a bright future for the whole team that has made Wyoming Millwork Co. successful for the past 30 years,” said owners Dave and Craig Failing.

Builders FirstSource is the nation’s largest supplier of structural building products, value-added components, and services to the professional market for new residential construction and repair and remodeling. Builders FirstSource focus is on providing unparalleled service to both large and small customers, the company said.

According to a report in Hardware and Building Supply Dealer, the addition of Wyoming Millwork’s operations will complement BLDR's three existing locations in the state:

  • Georgetown DE Lumber Yard
  • Middletown DE Lumber Yard
  • Stanton DE Lumber Yard
