OLGIATE OLONA, Italy - Sesa is poised for significant growth as it enters its 75th year including in North America, "where we plan to launch innovative finishes in the next two years," and other international markets, said Carlo Santori, CEO, who alongside his brother Luca leads the company.
The press plate producer shined most recently at October's SICAM show in Italy, with a number of its deep wood finishes and sophisticated geometries showcased across multiple exhibits by leading Italian panel manufacturers. Sesa is well known for its Embossed In Register (E.I.R) and ONE technology products.
“Our finishes played a significant role in the new collections presented by trendsetters at SICAM," Santori said. “We introduced deep wood textures so refined and realistic that they are nearly indistinguishable from real wood, alongside sophisticated geometric patterns. These innovations were met with great enthusiasm and underline our commitment to pushing the boundaries of melamine surfaces.”
Santori noted Sesa’s deep wood finishes and intricate geometries not only enhance the visual appeal of melamine panels but also offer a tactile experience that is becoming increasingly important for clients seeking a true-to-nature feel. “The materiality of our melamine finishes is just as crucial as their aesthetic aspect,” he explained. "Our [aim is] to deliver products that captivate both visually and sensorially, providing a multidimensional experience that elevates the final application.”
'Growing' forward
As part of its diamond jubilee commemoration, Sesa will kick off a series of initiatives, starting with a major presence at Interzum, May 20-23 in Cologne, Germany. “Interzum will be a key moment for us,” Santori said. “It’s the perfect stage to unveil our latest innovations and celebrate our heritage alongside clients and partners from around the world.”
Headquartered in Olgiate Olona (VA) Italy, Sesa has a worldwide presence and is a leader in press mould production. The company says its products blend "traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge design. With its new deep wood finishes and sophisticated geometries, Sesa continues to set trends and meet the evolving demands of a global market that values both aesthetics and material authenticity."
