Lectra, a provider of industrial intelligence technology solutions to players in fashion, automotive, and furniture, has announced that Edgecombe Furniture, a U.S.-based hospitality furniture manufacturer, has selected Valia Furniture, Lectra’s next-generation platform, to modernize operations and drive productivity.

Woodgrain Inc. filed a WARN notice with Oregon state officials July 1, notifying them that the company was closing its Pilot Rock sawmill on or after Sept. 1, 2025. Woodgrain said it will permanently close the sawmill and lay off 62 employees.
