HALEYVILLE, Ala. — Kith Furniture, a bedroom and occasional home furnishings manufacturer, has abruptly stopped operations.

Home News Now reported July 1 that the Haleyville, Alabama-based company was ceasing operations. The digital-only news outlet learned of the company’s decision to close down after it reportedly received calls from the company’s sales reps.

The  company was founded in 2011 by Craig and Ken Smith, former execs with Harden Manufacturing, a bedroom producer that was founded by their father Joe Mac Smith in 1972, according to an August 2011 Woodworking Network story. According to Datanyze, the current management team includes Craig Smith as CEO, Dylan Smith as executive vice president, and Lisa Veal as controller. Datanyze reports that the company employs 34 workers and has $15.8 in revenues.

Woodworking Network will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
