We were very successful in the long run.The pandemic taught us to seek out local suppliers, side-stepping the supply chain crisis as much as possible.Our supply equation was: Buy local - Provincial-Canadian, then America, and then elsewhere if need be.

Hardwood plywood group files petition with Commerce Department regarding imports

Citing unfair trade practices, the Coalition for Fair Trade in Hardwood Plywood has petitioned the U.S. Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission to enact antidumping and countervailing duties against Indonesia, Vietnam, and China. The petitions, filed Thursday, May 22, "have significant implications for our economy, in which hardwood plywood plays a critical role in producing numerous downstream products."
