Spokane-based designers acquire cabinet company

Coyote Creek Cabinets, a Spokane Valley, Washington-based cabinet company, has been acquired by F&R Holdings for $1.3 million.

The holding company is owned, in part, by Summerlyn Feckner and Meredith Randall, co-owners of Ginger Designs, a Spokane-based full-service residential design firm.

According to the Spokane Journal of Business, Coyote Creek Cabinets has been in business for 29 years and operates at a 1,000-square-foot showroom and a 6,000-square-foot manufacturing facility nearby. All nine existing employees of Coyote Creek Cabinets have been retained, and two new staff members have joined since the acquisition, which was completed in May.

Feckner is the new director of operations at Coyote Creek Cabinets, and Randall is the new director of design and media at the cabinet company. Coyote Creek Cabinet's previous owners also have remained involved as consultants to assist with the transition, the report said.
