ARLINGTON, Texas – CNC machining and edgebanding are the two major thrusts of the Running Machine Program that will take place throughout both days of Wood Pro Expo Texas.

Four machinery companies exhibiting at the show will participate in the free educational demonstrations at the Arlington Convention Center, March 12-13. They include CNC Factory, Felder Group America, Maze Machinery and SNX Technologies.

“The Running Machine Program has quickly become a popular feature of the regional Wood Pro Expo events,” said Laurel Didier, publisher of Closet & Organized Storage, a publication of Woodworking Network, organizer of the show. “This is an opportunity for woodworkers to see specially prepared presentations illustrative of industry-best technologies and to get immediate answers to their questions.”

Here’s a quick look at what’s on tap for the Running Machine Program.

CNC Factory, booth #101, will demonstrate the Python XPR Driverless CNC machining center for nesting parts. One push of the Python’s touchscreen facilitates loading and unloading of parts, material alignment, and spoil board cleaning. The Running Machine Progrm demonstrations, featuring KCD Software, will also highlight hands-free robotic labeling and marking of components for secondary production such as edgebanding or doweling. Felder Group America, booth #309, will highlight two of its machines, including the Creator 950 CNC machining center, winner of an IWF 2018 Challengers Award. Felder will demonstrate the versatility of the compact Creator 950, including its zero-setup capability. In addition, Felder will demonstrate the Tempora 60.06 edgebander that combine speed, productivity and flexibility. Learn more; watch video.

Maze Machinery, booth #427, will showcase Holz-Her’s patented Glue Jet System to apply PUR glue for zero joint edgebanding. The demonstration will also highlight the strength and water resistance of PUR adhesives. The Glue Jet System demos will feature a Holz-Her Auriga 1308 edgebander. Learn more; watch video.

SNX Technologies, booth #513, will demonstrate the SNX nVision System1 G3 contour edgebander. The machine has the capacity to edgeband parts weighing up to 230 pounds and with dimensions up to 5 ft x 10 ft and from 0.5 in. to 2.25 in. thick. Learn more; watch video.

About Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo and Wood Pro Expo Texas
The Cabinets & Closets Expo & Conference (CCCE) is the annual national event for cabinet and closet professionals and is co-located with Wood Pro Expo Texas (WPE), a regional marketplace for the woodworking professionals. The events are organized by Closets & Organized Storage and FDMC magazines respectively, both part of Woodworking Network.

Both the Cabinets & Closets and WPE lead off with a separate full-day executive conference on Wednesday, followed by the two-day expo featuring woodworking machinery and supplies. Additional educational programming is offered on both days of the expo. Tours of local manufacturing plants and the popular Top Shelf Design Awards networking reception are also key components of the event.

The 2020 CCCE and Wood Pro Expo Texas are scheduled for March 11-13 at the Arlington Convention Center, Arlington, Texas.
