ARLINGTON, Texas -- Felder Group USA will demonstrate its Creator 950 CNC machining center at Wood Pro Expo Texas, March 12-13 at the Arlington Convention Center. The Creator 950 won a Challengers Award at the 2018 International Woodworking Fair.
The space-saving machining center requires only a 53-square-foot area to operate, according to Felder. Options for drilling, routing, sizing and dowel inserting are available.
Some of the benefits of the Creator 950 Felder cites include:
- "No setup times -- a big advantage compared to conventional CNC machines."
- No vacuum pods and console positioning; no area selection.
- Four-sided formatting.
- Simple loading and processing from above.
- Intuitive operation via control panel.
In addition to the Creator 950, Felder will demonstrate the Tempora 60.06 edgebander at booth #309.
Felder says the Tempora features "quick, easy and efficient" processing of edges by combining speed, produtivity, flexibility and user comfort. Felder adds that solid edge processing and an optimized machine chassis ensure stability even when running at maximum speed. The user friendly control options allow for quick set-up times and fast material changes with individually configurable machining programs.
Both the Creator 950 and Tempora 60.06 will be featured in the Running Machine Program taking place throughout both days of Wood Pro Expo.
Felder is the exclusive sponsor of the Cabinets & Closets Conference tours to First Source Cabinet Doors manufacturing plant and Techline Furniture, Cabinetry & Closets' showroom.
