Noichl appointed interim member of Pfleiderer supervisory board

Neumarkt -- SDAX-listed Pfleiderer AG has announced the appointment of Herbert Noichl (45) as an interim member of the supervisory board with immediate effect. Mr. Noichl takes over in this capacity from Friedhelm Päfgen, who resigned from office with effect from 31st December 2010.

Previously, Herbert Noichl held the post of financial director from 2006, and the post of chairman of the board of directors from 2007, at Van Genechten Packaging N.V, a leading company in the packaging sector. In addition to these roles, Mr. Noichl is a managing partner of management consultancy firm cfo Unternehmensberatung und Finanzmanagement GmbH, based in Niederndorf, Austria. Prior to that, he held professional roles with the Kraft Jacobs Suchard Group, AVD GmbH and Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG.

In addition, the board of directors has agreed that Mr. Hanno C. Fiedler will take over as acting chairman of the board with effect from 18th February 2011 until the next general shareholders meeting. He follows Christopher von Hugo, who resigned from office as already announced. Previously, Mr. Fiedler acted as second vice chairman of the supervisory board.
